Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to personal information you give this website. It covers this website only. If you become a client, Jefferson Trust Limited will give you a separate, fuller notice covering the personal data we hold in order to act as trustee or corporate services provider.

What we collect, and only what we collect

If you use the enquiry form we collect the name, email address, subject and message you type into it. That is the entire list. We ask for nothing else and the form has no hidden fields beyond a single empty one used to catch automated spam.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising, tracking pixels or social media scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request; if you would rather it did not, a content blocker will stop it and the site will still work.

Where your enquiry goes

Submitting the form opens your own email application with the message prepared, addressed to [email protected]. Your message travels through your own email provider to ours. This website does not store it, and there is no database behind this site holding enquiries.

If we later switch the form to submit in the background, it will send your message through a third-party form relay and this page will say so before that change goes live.

Why we may hold it, and for how long

We use what you send only to answer you and, if it leads somewhere, to carry on that conversation. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list. Enquiries that do not become client relationships are kept no longer than we need them to deal with the matter and to meet our own record-keeping obligations, then deleted.

Your rights under Hong Kong law

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) you may ask us whether we hold personal data about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Write to [email protected] or to the address below and we will respond within the statutory period. We will not charge you more than the Ordinance permits.
